We have successfully secured planning permission for three units (4,374 sqm) of industrial/commercial accommodation, within two state of the art, sustainable and flexible buildings, on a former office site in Hook, Hampshire. 

 

Acting for Kingsbridge, we provided advice at the pre-application stage including discussions with Hart District Council and Hook Parish Council and undertook a public and stakeholder engagement exercise prior to the submission of the application

 

Feedback from this informed the preparation and submission of the application, which we co-ordinated with inputs from third party technical consultants. Following submission of the application we worked closely with officers at Hart District Council to progress the application to a successful resolution at Development Management Committee. Our advice also included matters in relation to planning conditions and the conclusion of a S106 Agreement.

 

One of our key objectives with this instruction was to ensure that Kingsbridge could deliver a highly sustainable development and one which was sufficiently flexible to meet potential occupier requirements. This required careful balancing with the close proximity of existing residential properties
